Variety Of Poker Games
5 Card Draw Poker is played on a special table with a 52 card deck. The game is similar to stud poker with the exception of player can buy / exchange up to two cards at a time of the initial deal. Each player places an ante bet, with the option of playing for a jackpot bonus (optional), and receives five cards face down. The dealer gets five cards, with one card facing up. The player then examines his hand and decides to fold, (forfeiting the ante), or to make an additional bet by doubling his ante. He also has the opportunity to ‘exchange’ one or two cards for the price of the Ante bet (by doing so he loses all rights to win a prize from the Jackpot) The dealer can only play (qualify) with an Ace/King combination or better. If the dealer does not qualify, the player automatically wins the ante and that hand is over. If the dealer qualifies, and the player wins the hand, the bet and the ante will be accordingly paid to the player. The player is also paid special payouts for hands that rank two pair or higher. The payouts are based on the tableau.
